According to the laws of nature, disease gradually erodes the body and life fades away little by little. A few years before her death, French anthropologist Françoise Héritier wrote The Sweetness of Life. The book starts with a letter the author sent to her doctor and then became a long list of everyday reasons that make life worth living.

Local video artist Joein Leong and dancer Oscar Cheong, will join hands with American artist Morgan O’Hara, who is renowned for her “live transmission” drawing, to explore the meaning of disappearance and incompletion of life. It is a recollection of what has disappeared and a testimony of what is gone.

This time I highly emphasized that graphic design is part of the performance.
Poster is my stage, and the space is a box framed in a white paper. When all the performing elements are extracted—life, mud (Le Sel de la Vie), touching, burr, handwriting, and slight adjustment—the scene is the main axis, the abstract lines are the dancer, and the symbols are details of the performance.
I mimicked the performance of American artist Morgan O’Hara, the line creation that resembles her subconscious. I recorded the trajectory of my cursor on a computer screen during work. These lines are the marks of my creation, radial in the middle, and directly lead the audience’s attention to my presence when they share the same feelings.
Thus, I conscientiously wrote down the concept of my creation.
